This was a gift I received as a birthday gift. Its a good read and duChemin has a great sense of humor. I enjoy his ideas about marketing as a photographer and how the digital age should be considered a tool rather than a headache. This book is very simple in my opinion, which i enjoy. The book is straight to the point with out being too complex with the ideas.
duChemin adds a nice touch by incorporating current working photographers at all levels as examples of branding, style of photography, and business practices.
Visionmongers may not be the best book, but its had interesting concepts and tries to be a well rounded informational tool for those trying to make a living with photography. You can probably pick one up used for cheap.
