I had the pleasure to train at the first Muay Thai gym in California. The Muay Thai Academy was the first to bring muay thai to americans in the 1980s. Thoroughbred, Maliaipet, has been champion and has competed against the best such as Yodsaenklai Fairtex.
Basically friends and family came to have a nice work out so I held class and it consisted of shadow boxing, pad work, sparring and clinching.
