Photobooth SF

Next time you're in the Bay, make your way to the recently opened Photobooth SF on Valencia at 23rd. It's a portrait studio specializing in Polaroid and tintypes (yes, the old mid-19th century style of portraiture, printed on metal). The results look fabulous! The studio and gallery space also includes a store, selling Impossible Project products and other not-always-easily-found photography accessories.

An Inflatable Photo Studio

Crunch Gear is wont to believe this studio is a fire trap (and that may well be the case) but I would also be a little concerned with over-heating/suffocating inside a large plastic entity. Anyway, I'm not sure why you would use a photo studio outdoors--doesn't that pretty much defeat the purpose?--but if anyone's interested in a little bounce-house-style photoshooting, they are available for rent.
